GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) will come into effect across the EU zone on May 25, 2018. Basically, it gives you control over your data and “the right to be forgotten”. Moreover, you have the right to know what data is being collected about you and the right to be notified promptly if there is a data breach.
We love everything that repsects user data privacy.
We don't collect personal information about our users.
The only thing we do remotely related to this is TeX Writer web app,
which keeps an email address, display name and last login time, but no more.
The web app works directly on Dropbox and OneDrive files. We don't store user files on our servers. We do have to keep some cache for efficient compilation. Those caches are purged everyday.
We don't have a "delete my account" feature yet.
However, you can always send a request to
firstname.lastname@example.org. We can do that manually.
In the future, we hope to develop apps that doesn't require any server.
